Product Line Manager

Reports to : VP, EMEA

Location: First Preference:  Paris (2nd: Amsterdam)

Major Responsibilities:

- Drive product development from business case to deployment.  Both business and technical.
- Define and develop marketing and sales collateral, press releases and advertising, customer presentations and field applications and sales training.
- Work with our internal engineering and advance development groups as well as external customers to define products, system partitioning and roadmaps, sales strategies and development time windows.
- Help drive advanced architectures. Monitor start-up development groups for disruptive technology.
- Interact with technical development team on the customer side, and engineering team in the factory on the development side.
- Responsible for driving reply to customer RFQ ensuring accuracy both technical and business
- Strong personality in ability to persuade factory and drive schedule to meet customer time line
- An MS office Wiz, must have Excellent skills with PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and MS project (Gantt charts)
- Write MRDs, feature lists, develop business case for each product or each project with various customers in France, Netherlands, and UK
- Frequent travels throughout Europe and Taiwan
- Travel more than 25% of time throughout Europe and to Taiwan

Qualifications:

- BSEE/MSEE. (must be from a technical background with business savvy)
- 3 to 5 years experience in CPE product management (experience at Thomson, Philips, Sony, Linksys, Broadcom, Texas Instruments, ST micro, or similar)
- Entrepreneur in spirit (not a 9 to 5 person)
- Must be details oriented, no exceptions
- Native English, Able to read, write, and speak French at a high level, Mandarin Chinese is a nice plus
