March 3, 2009 - Ambit’s New Name, Culture, and Structure Distinguishes Company From Other Broadband Vendors

Englewood, CO – Highlighting its unique status in the network equipment marketplace, Ambit Broadband Inc. (operating as “Ambit Microsystems” in the Americas), a leading supplier of broadband customer premises equipment (CPE), announced today that it has re-branded the company as Ubee Interactive. The Ubee name reflects feedback gathered from extensive customer and employee surveys, depicting the company as open, unconventional, and dedicated to improving the broadband experience for consumers and service providers.

“Our new name and logo reflect the fact that we are a special company,” said Maria Popo, President of Ubee/Americas. “We’re small enough to be responsive and flexible, but large enough to support the world’s largest broadband service providers.” To further illustrate that point, Popo mentioned that Ubee products are in use at 7 of the 8 largest cable operators in the United States, as well as leading MSOs (Multiple System Operators) throughout the world. “The Ubee difference is our commitment to really know our customers. We strive to be flexible, responsive, and go the extra mile to help them achieve their goals.”

The Ubee name was introduced today via a website re-launch and will spread throughout the company’s materials and products in the coming months. Ubee Interactive will also feature its new look in its display booth (#1313) at The Cable Show ‘09, the National Cable and Telecommunications Association (NCTA)’s 58th Annual Convention & International Exposition, April 1-3 in Washington, D.C.

“We believe that our business model—- customer-focused, cost-effective, and closely aligned with world-class manufacturing—- is the structure for our times,” said Ubee Interactive CEO Dr. Y.H. Lin.
