  1. Login into the device as described in the “How do I log into the modem’s Web User Interface?” FAQ.
  2. Select Wireless on the main menu.
  3. Select Basic from the left side menu
  • Wireless MAC Address – Displays the wireless MAC address of the Ubee device.
  • Network Name (SSID) – This field allows you to use the default SSID or enter a new one.  Wireless clients connecting to the Ubee device use this SSID to establish the wireless network connection.
  • Broadcast SSID – Click the box next to Enable to allow broadcast of the SSID.
  • Channel – Selects a specific channel to deploy the wireless network.  This allows you to set the operating frequency/channel depending on your particular region.  Channel selection can have an impact on wireless networking performance.
  • Interface –Select Enabled or Disabled to turn on or off the wireless radio interface.  Off makes the Ubee wireless access point unavailable for use.
  • Apply – Saves all screen changes when clicked.
  • Restore Wireless Defaults – Restores the factory default settings for wireless configurations when clicked.
