802.11 Band Choose 2.4Ghz or 5 Ghz, not both concurrently. ALL wireless client adapters MUST support 5GHz if you decide to use 5GHz only. Remember, 802.11b/g supports only 2.4GHz. 802.11n supports 2.4GHz, and may also support 5GHz, depending on the model of the wireless client adapter or the wireless gateway/router.
802.11 n-Mode Select Auto to use 802.11 n mode when possible. Remember, 802.11a/b/g clients cannot connect to an 802.11n access point. 802.11n mode has a significant increase in the maximum link speed, supporting up to 72.2Mbps per transmitter and receiver for a bandwidth setting of 20MHz, or up to 144.4Mbps for a 40MHz bandwidth setting. 802.11g only supports up to 54 Mbps, and less than 12Mbps for 802.11b. Multiple antennas provide multiple transmitter/receivers. For example, 2 antennas can provide 2 transmitters and 2 receivers (2x2), which doubles link speeds  (e.g., 2 x 72.2 = 144.4 at 20MHz, and 2 x 144.4 = 288.8 at 40MHz bandwith).
